STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Please note that Teen Aviation of New Jersey will be relocating to Eagles Nest Airport in 2027 due to the planned closure of Flying W Airport.

1 - High school student grades 9 through 12.

2 - Age 13 through 18.

3 - Home address within 1 hour driving distance of Eagles Nest Airport, 100 Airport Road, West Creek NJ 08092.

4 - Have a sincere interest in aviation and a commitment to regular attendance at build sessions.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Step 1 - Submit the STUDENT APPLICATION form.

Step 2 - Submit the NOTICE TO STUDENTS AND PARENTS/GUARDIANS form.

Step 3 - Attend a Prospective Student Orientation event (orientation events are by invitation only).

Step 4 - Interview for admission into the program.

ONLINE FORMS

Online forms will be submitted to us after you click on the submit button at the bottom of each form.  If you want a copy of your responses, be sure to include a valid email at the top of each form and request a copy of your responses (immediately above the submit button) before submitting the form.  Requesting a copy of your responses for each form is the only way of knowing that particular form was submitted.

Both forms are required to be placed on the waiting list and to be elegible for an interview.

Please be sure to fill out and submit both forms.

The deadline for submitting the APPLICATION and NOTICE  forms for the 2027-2028 school year is June 1, 2027.

Applications submitted after June 1, 2027 will be considered for enrollment in the fall of 2028

ORIENTATION EVENT AND INTERVIEWS

Prospective Student Orientation events are held annually in August during the last two hours of a regularly scheduled build session.  Orientations are by invitation only due to the high number of applications we receive.  Interviews are competitive and conducted at the end of the orientation event.  The number of new students accepted after an orientation event and interview will depend on the number of students currently enrolled in the program and the number of openings available.

Prospective Student Orientation events are held annually in August.

A parent or guardian must be present at the orientation event and during the interview.

Our next Prospective Student Orientation event will be held in August, 2027.
